Artificial Deity, 2026. Sculpture made mostly from iron and stainless steel. this art piece is made for the Svartmyra sculpture park outside of Värnamo. The sculpture is full of symbolism that reflects my complicated relationship with technology. The man made technology is here portrayed as a godlike deity who is neither good nor evil and does not care who it serves and brings prosperity to or whether their intentions are good or evil as long as they worship it. Under the dancing deity, man lies comfortably scrolling on a screen but with the crushing weight of his tech god standing on him.
