After been on display this summer at the co creative community of Alversjö outside of Eksjö the Artificial Deity has now been mounted at its final placement on the Svartmyra sculpture park! This sculpture is full of symbolism that reflects my complicated relationship with technology. The man made technology is here portrayed as a godlike deity who is neither good nor evil and does not care who it serves and brings prosperity to or whether their intentions are good or evil as long as they worship it. Under the dancing deity, man lies comfortably scrolling on a screen but with the crushing weight of his tech god standing on him.
