Water Accelerator, 2025 .A water tap i built as part of a large project called The Square in the co creative community of Alversjö outside of Eksjö. The Square is a paved gathering place surrounded by outdoor kitchens and gardens where the water taps are placed. We were 6 artists who each built a water tap/sculpture. Mine is made mostly from scrap from Alvesjö. Including a balcony railing from a burned down house on the property. The whole thing is decorated with wavy stainless steel sheets cut into slightly pskadelic patterns which gives it a pleasant splashy look. Two lamps that I made in a vintage style from copper and steel illuminate the place invitingly in the dark together with a turquoise radiator. A large round tap handle in the middle in antique style is the crown of the creation. And of course the whole thing is put together with lots of rivets!
