Gutter hoders made of iron for the carved logs that is the rain drainage on two 16 century buildings that was being restored in late 2022 next to a church in the town of Bellö a few miles from where I live. They have to withstand a lot of weight and weather, So I make them from rough 10 millimeter steel which I then heat up and hammer into the right shape! The black surface treatment i make by burning tar to it! The renovation of the buildings follows strict rules from the authorities about how the renovation should be carried out! As much as possible of the work must be done the way it was done in the old days! I did this project as an employee of the Swedish Church in collaboration with a construction company that specializes in renovating older buildings.
