URANTRIOD. 2022. Sculpture made of iron casted copper and brass the iron is from a over 100 year old watermill ruin outside the city of Eksjö. the iron bears clear traces of hammer blows from the blacksmiths who once worked it! Also note the square nuts! They are very old probably from the 1800s! The iron has been out in the woods for a long time and has corroded so that it now almost has an organic look! The claw-like things of copper and brass I have casted myself by using a simple casting technique. They enclose a rod with leaded uranium glass that fluoresces eerily green under the built-in UV light. The whole sculpture is about 60 cm high.
