Just below the dial are 3 rotating Dekatrons whose speed can be controlled with the knobs underneath. At the top is the eye that shines with a flickering green light. At the bottom is a leaded glass sphere with a oscillating light whose speed is also controlled by a steering wheel. The lever that acts as the main switch can also be seen on the foot.
